Takadera Manzai Dance

This four piece dance is about two brothers who want to avenge their father's death by slaying "Takadera Uzashi". In the first peice, the emphasis is on the resolve of the brothers and they prepare to exact their revenge. In the ensueing two pieces, they present a display of the arts of itinerant "chondara" entertainers, at first brandishing the heads of a lion and a horse and then dancing empty-handed employing karate gestures. In the final piece, the brothers pursue their foe and finally realize their objective.
